NextUp is an initiative to support 18-to 24-year olds in determining, "What’s your next?" That can mean getting your GED, enrolling in technical training, or finding a job. NextUp wants to help you forge your own path and achieve your goals. With our program, you will have access to free technical training and job placement assistance, as well as a variety of individual skill-building workshops and career coaching. Whatever your goal is, NextUp is here to help and support you.

TCW is a program of Madison Strategies Group, a non-profit organization designed to help Tulsa-area residents find quality employment and advance in jobs in manufacturing, transportation, and healthcare industries. TCW is federally and locally funded, which means all services are absolutely free. NextUp operates out of the Tulsa Community WorkAdvance office.

We are located in downtown Tulsa, at 907 S. Detroit Avenue, Suite 210, Tulsa, OK 74120. We're inside the Tulsa Community WorkAdvance offices.

Interested applicants attend an orientation to begin the application process. Orientation sessions generally occur on Mondays and Wednesdays each week. For more information, call us at (918) 442-2900.

Attending an orientation starts by filling out our form online or texting "NextUp" to 31996 for more information.

For orientation, we just need you to bring a valid photo identification (ID) and a resume. That's enough to get the process started!

Unfortunately, you must be between the ages of 18-24 to be eligible for NextUp.

No, a criminal background will not disqualify you from being accepted into the NextUp program. Acceptance into NextUp occurs on a case-by-case basis.

No, a high school diploma or GED is not a requirement to be a NextUp participant.

We partner with established educators in the area to deliver our training courses. Class location is dependent on training program.

Trainings offered through NextUp are short-term and range from 4 weeks to 10 months in length depending on the program.

Thanks to generous funding from our partners across the community, NextUp is completely free. There are no dues or fees required.

The Charles & Lynn Schusterman Foundation and a Tulsa Area United Way Innovation Grant provided generous donations to cover the costs of the NextUp program. Both of these foundations believe in this program and want support 18-24 year olds in the Tulsa community.

There is no catch! Our services are completely free to those who qualify. We are here to support individuals that want to get their future started and are willing to take the steps.
